In Mojave.obj I explore the desert reduced to its wireframe mesh by accessing the developer console built into Fallout. Game environments are made of texture images wrapped around a wireframe skeleton, and removing the textures leaves only the mesh skeleton. Once volumes have been eradicated, what remains is laid bare.The world becomes transparent, jagged. From below, the seams and joints that connect the world are visible. From above, detail loads and unloads as the cameras position in space changes relative to interlocked tiles of desert.
